tidbits
~i'm installing all the blinds in the entire house by myself. it's a pain in the ass! i'm averaging about an hour per window. i have 6 more to do. bleh!
~took the kids to "candy cane lane". they unofficially name this local street that over the holidays because that street and the street next to it have the most incredible lights. every single freaking house looks like disney's electrical parade. here are a couple of pics. imagine every house on the street lit up like that. the kids get such a kick out of it. i think it's an unwritten rule that if you live on that street, you have to put up a shitload of lights for the holidays. i wonder what the neighborhood's electric bill is for december.

~another reason i love hooters. KIDS EAT FREE!!! and usually i have pretty cool waitresses so they comp both of my kids (it's supposed to be one free kid's meal per one paid adult meal).
~mmmm... fish and chips. you know, another addiction that i have besides cheeeeeeseburgers and hooters' wings are fried foods. i love it. deep fry anything and i'll eat it. gross, huh? but it's so good!
~getting back on my diet after the holidays. my excuse right now is that i'm too busy and i tend to pack on some weight during the winter (heh, i don't know if that's true or not... hehe). i've been semi dieting but not exercising so i've been holding steady and haven't gained any weight in the last 2 weeks. but i did gain about 5 lbs.total since early september :( at least i don't have as much weight to lose as i did in the beginning of 2005! that was rough!

i'm dragging the boyfriend to hooters for one more try. i told him that we hae to try the grilled cheese. heh.
i gain weight during the winter. i eat to stay warm. there, that's my lame excuse!
i absolutely loooove fish and chips. i think i can kill for fish and chips. maybe for a lifetime's supply anyway.
you're right about the electricity bill for the neighborhood.. a tad bit pretentious, but hey, the kids enjoy it and no skin off your back! ;-)
are you sure that winter-packing is not a valid excuse for weight gain? that's my excuse too, starting Thanksgiving onwards! hehe
RUBYS has a kids eat free night some time in the middle of the week.
