I GOT THE HOUSE!!!!

Friday, October 28, 2005

today...

my agent is presenting an offer on the perfect house... i'm lowballing, but i just want to see what they counter back. and if they come back with the amount i'm agreeing to in my head, i'm taking it! and we're going to entice them with a 20 day closing. so cross your fingers for me!!!

i sold my house!

because of the plummeting market, i didn't get exactly what i wanted, but close enough. but the semi good news is that it's only getting worse, so when i start house hunting this week, i get to be picky! because of the market, i, a single mother, can actually afford a 4 bedroom house, whereas just at the beginning of the summer, my choices were limited to either a 2 bedroom condo or an itty bitty house in the ghettos...

a special day for special k!

happy birthday, kaleb!

i can't believe you're 4 now. i remember bringing you home from the hospital like it was yesterday. i put you in a classic winnie the pooh sleeper with a matching beanie. i kept telling your dad, "be careful!" everytime he went over speedbumps and potholes (although i'm sure he was just as nervous about driving us home). i remember how you and i would gaze into each others eyes while you would clutch one of my fingers with your entire hand. i remember how sweet your toothless smile was and how i wanted you to stay that small forever. but i'm glad i couldn't trap time because i would've never known how hysterically funny you are, how caring you are, how smart you are and just so full of life for such a small boy.
until you have kids of your own, you'll never know how you make my heart skip a beat when you tell me out of the blue, "i love you mommy".

and i love you, son.

happy birthday, little man.

hahaha!!!

so fucking hilarious!!! (click me)

...nice day for a white wedding...

aw, the wedding was beautiful. and the bride was so gorgeous, she looked like a princess. and hey, an open bar and filet mignon at the reception is more than enough to make this girl happy! i'm not sure if many of you are familiar with the Casa del Mar hotel in santa monica, but that's where it was held. (the rooms are like, $600 a night!). it was a beautiful sunny day and everything was just so perfect. like a storybook wedding. good times...
and of course, non stop drinking. gawd, i puked again on saturday morning (but not a whole lot, just enough to make my stomach stop queasing.) i guess i had way too many shots in a matter of 2 hours, plus about 5 vodka drinks. bleh. but the next night, i didn't want to drink, so i babysat a beer for about an hour... but i think the highlight of my trip was having some chicken wings at hooters! yum, yum, YUM! i would eat at hooters more often, but there isn't one nearby my house, so i try to eat there every opportunity i get when i'm out of town, if there is one close by. i'm contemplating working at a hooters just to be able to eat their wings after every shift! :) j/k... and i've noticed that recently, i've really been coming out of my shell, socially. pimpin' is starting to come naturally. hehe. no, but in all seriousness, i'm not as shy as i used to be in social settings. i'm starting to be a little more cool about the attention i get from men whereas before, i was really scared and intimidated, and it made me shut down inside. but now i just go with it. (wow, who would've thought it would take 10 years to get to that point?). i'm going to miss seeing my girls every other week, but it's been a fun couple of months. i think i may want to see them again for new year's, but we'll see.

another vegas inspired hnt

this is such a cute shirt, but i'm not sure i'd ever
wear it again... covered in sequins (all the flowers
are made with the sequins), the bottom half is
see through and it is completely backless. this
shirt is held together by 2 pieces of string. the one
around my neck and an identical one on my back.
this is what i was wearing when i got gang molested

by the girls.

mind control

my daughter was singing a song this morning.

now i can't get it out of my head. it's been there all day.

"...somebody told me you had a boyfriend who looked like a girlfriend that i had in february of last year... it's not confidential, i got potential..."

tidbits

~ going back to LA this weekend. *sigh* it's my last obligation for the year (i hope). my friend is getting married (the one that had the bachelorette party in vegas). but i'm flying this time. i don't mind driving to LA and all, but 3 times, round trip, in 5 weeks is a bit much.

~ hacked off my hair. 8 inches. dropped my kids off with grandpa for a couple of hours while i got my hair worked on. conversation when i got back with my new 'do.

special k: mommy, i like your hair. it's beautiful.
me: thanks, baby... (looking over at jade, who saw my hair but didn't say anything and turned away). what's the matter, jade? you don't like it? is it ugly? should i not have cut it? do you want me to grow it back?
jade: (unenthusiastically)no, it looks nice.
me: then whats wrong?
jade: it doesn't look like mine anymore (we had the SAME EXACT hairstyle, super long and straight... she always wants to have her hair like mine. if i get highlights, she gets highlights. if i get red streaks, she gets red streaks, etc.)
me: oh, i see.
jade: i wish my hair looked like that

aww.. so we went down to the salon and she got her hair cut exactly like mine. short with long layers. i curled my hair yesterday so she wanted hers curled too. she looks so freakin adorable! she pulls off this hairstyle WAAAAY better than i do. hehe.

~ the ex went back to work. i think him being home on bedrest for 3 1/2 weeks really pushed me over the edge. so he moved out of the house. i just couldn't handle him always questioning me, accusing me, harassing me about things that are none of his business. i could live with him in a civil manner if he didn't do that. but he knows he can't stop. at least he's being honest about it and not trying to manipulate me so that he can stay longer.

not much else... been slammed at work. but we nailed our sam's club/harris teeter/krogers/publix accounts! (southern region for you californians-don't worry, i've never heard of them either [besides sam's] until i started working here.... hehe) so they will be selling more of our higher end australian wines.

i'm back, baby!

i had a blast! i'll have to break up my trip into a few posts. and yes, i did get my lap dances. my friends kept paying for them so between the girl stripper club on friday (my girlfriend's and my birthdays) and the boy stripper club on saturday (my other girlfriend's bachelorette party), i had 7 lap dances...(5 girls and 2 boys) and i'm traumatized.... let's just say that LE was right about the girls being "hands on". they fucking molested me! i hadn't worked up the nerve to get a lap dance (i think i needed a few drinks ... hmm... 20 shots would've been good!) but my friend's boyfriend kept getting girls for me.

girl dancers: they kept telling me how beautiful i was, asking what race am i, telling me they love my breasts, etc.. and the girls aren't allowed to be touched, but my face was literally smothered with titties (i couldn't breathe a few times), my crotch was dry humped and they even rubbed their faces there. my leg was thrown over their shoulders, my boobs were grabbed and they made me grab their boobies and spank their asses! ALL OF THEM!!! (and since it was my first time, i was so scared) eesh... yeah, and a couple of them licked my cleavage or kissed my neck... and did i mention that my first lap dance was with 2 girls at the same time?! and even the dancers on stage would come up to us and a couple of them grabbed my boobies! but whew! i got out alive! (and no... sorry guys, but i wasn't aroused... there was no attraction. hehe.. i knew you guys would ask that!) i would've stopped at the first dance, but the girls kept showing up since they were already paid for...

boy dancers: the guys the next night were just as dirty. the first guy was feeling me up and kissing my neck and then he wanted to go to the vip room (it's $100) but he said "there's no one else there, completely private and we can have some 'real' fun, if you know what i mean...." EWWW!!! and the girls are not allowed to touch their dicks but he kept trying to shove my hands down his thong, saying "make it quick". ah!!! i freaked out! and then another stripper (male) grabbed my ass while i was walking past him. dude, what's wrong with that picture?! i'm not the freaking piece of meat... he was!!!! so um... yeah.. i skipped over A TON of details, but that was the quick version. to be honest, it was quite a traumatic experience and i'm still in shock, so i don't think i'll be talking about it for awhile... i think it'll take me a week or two to get over it.... but hey, at least i get to check that off my list.

but the highlights for the rest of the trip were that we were somehow connected to everything, so at the strip clubs and at a nightclub called 'pure' in caesar's, we never had to wait in line or pay cover (and some guy kept buying all six of us bachelorette girls drinks all night at pure because he won some money. cool!). and dinner the first night at emeril lagasse's delmonico steakhouse was awesome! they started us with the most tastiest complimentary foie gras for celebrating our birthday (better than the sliced crap), and a dessert for each of us with a candle. aww... i honestly thought it would be just 'alright' and overrated for being a celebrity chef's restaurant, but it was one of the best meals i've EVER had. and i had a tomato salad and l'orange duck. YUM!

i'll recap my trip as i find time....
